Ensure desired quality and style of show is met Assist with special projects if needed NOTE: Being that this is a CG show, it is one with a heavy animatic process without the use of timing sheets.(3) stages of animatics occur simultaneously. Animatics are used as definite reference for Overseas animation. They will help coordinate the set up of projects, research tape locations, tracking elements and project status as needed. They will also be available to other Project Managers for help with actualizing work orders, inputting dailies work orders and handling duplication orders. This position affords the candidate a chance to learn all aspects of post production at Technicolor Hollywood for various episodic shows, feature dailies and feature mastering. Knowledge of various types of projects and understanding of post production (dailies, encoding, duplication, assembly, final color, etc) is helpful. Must be able to multi-task more than one or two projects at a time, handle clients (in person and on the phone) calmly and professionally and in a timely manner, and work well with the Technicolor Project Management team. <a id="more-198"></a></p><br><p>Duties will include: • Tracking and researching feature mastering elements • Helping to maintain feature mastering project schedules • Preparing and inputting dailies work orders as necessary • Actualizing previous day’s work orders • Constant and thorough communication with client, personnel and operations • Able to handle issues as needed • Respond to client and/or Project Manager inquires professionally and in a timely manner • Other assignments as determined by the Director of Project Management THE ABOVE ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. The PA will take on production responsibilities such as edit prep, trafficking tapes, dub requests, outside vendor support, amongst others. <a id="more-192"></a></p><br><p>Responsibilities:</p><br><p>1.Implementation and maintenance of Comp Reel database.<br /><br>2.Coordinate process for sub master and mastering of final spots.<br /><br>3.Fulfil dubbing requests.<br /><br>4.Version and tag promotional campaigns.<br /><br>5.Track/report music usage for department.<br /><br>6.Liaise with budget managers to fulfil contract requests and project invoicing.<br /><br>7.Assist creative team in compiling footage for campaigns, special projects, Upfront, more.<br /><br>8.Assist creative teams in all aspects of pre and post-production.<br /><br>9.Implement and maintain library of new and existing vendor reels, provide group insight to new production houses.</p><br><p>Requirements:</p><br><p>* Demonstrate knowledge and experience in television/film production<br /><br>* Knowledge and experience in television promotion, advertising creative or other related experience is preferred<br /><br>* Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills are essential<br /><br>* Candidate must have the ability to take direction from more than one individual, ability to work independently and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines<br /><br>* Knowledge of normal office software such as Lotus Notes, Word for Windows, Excel, is essential (MAC experience helpful)<br /><br>* Knowledge of AVID and other forms of non-linear editing systems very useful<br /><br>* Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners on all aspects of creative<br /><br>* Must have the legal right to work in the United States</p><br><p><strong>This job is located in Silver Spring, Md.
