Video/Motion Graphics Designer - Washington D.C. area
Key Role:
Develop media productions primarily focused on designing and creating motion graphics. Participate in all stages of the media development process from initial meetings with clients through delivery, including collaboration with teams, project managers, and clients to produce final products. Use creativity to design and produce visually interesting and compelling media. Lead tasks and project members and maintain responsibility for the overall program. Contribute to programs, including editing video, shooting video with professional cameras, recording and editing audio, and designing sound for video.
Basic Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with Adobe After Effects
-1 year of experience with Avid, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere
-1 year of experience with shooting video on location and in studio
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-1 year of experience with 3ds Max or Maya 3D modeling programs
-Experience with leading and developing video projects end-to-end
-Experience with shooting video using professional cameras
-Experience with studio and location video production
-Experience with developing DVDs, Streaming Media, and Multimedia CD-ROMs
-Experience with recording and editing audio
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Encore, Audition, Illustrator, Flash, or Captivate, Apple DVD Studio Pro, Autodesk Maya, or Autodesk Combustion a plus
-Experience with writing scripts a plus
-Experience with developing estimates a plus
-Ability to develop creative approaches to client requirements preferred
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment depending on the project preferred
