Development Coordinator - Pixar
This position provides support to the Development department, including directors, producers, and writers, as well as art, story and editorial crews.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the set up and organization of all Development projects (features and shorts). Provide support to the art, story and editorial departments for each show
- Collect, organize and maintain art and visual reference.
- Scan, file and preserve original artwork
- Help prepare for director, story and art reviews, including pinning boards, creating presentation materials and room set up
- Assist in the scheduling, prep and breakdown of meetings. Record the outcomes and
take aways of meetings
- General problem solving, errands and technical support for the department
- Light administrative assistant duties, including helping to cover producer and director phone lines
Qualifications
- Computer literacy a must. Mac preferred
- Highly familiar with Photoshop and Final Cut Pro
- Ability to maintain focus on priorities among multiple assigned tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Ability to read a room and anticipate needs
- Familiarity with art materials
- Some knowledge of film production preferred
- General office skills
- Positive energy. Must be highly motivated, mature and eager to be part of the Pixar team
- Must have a car, valid California Drivers License, & proof of current automobile insurance
