Videographer (Freelance) - BET Networks
BET News Department (located in Washington, D.C.) is seeking a full time videographer/editor with 5 + years experience in a fast paced, detail oriented news environment.
This position call for an individual with adept skill to shoot video on a Digi Beta Cam, operate audiovisual equipment, and edit in a quick, timely and efficient manor; on Avid Express HD.
The candidate has experience with all aspects of producing, including knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, an ability to handle multiple tight deadlines, and will work with producers, correspondents and other staff to enhance content.
Bachelor’s Degree in film, video preferred.

I shoot it, edit it and can author it.
I like Vegas, but at home with most software nl software.
I have use Photoshop, but not an expert.

I am quite interested in this position. I have experience with pre- and post production. I work with Adobe PS, AE, and Premiere Pro, as well as Vegas. I can author DVDs including navigation, and I currently work with a Sony HDV camera. You can view some samples on my website - www.spndesign.com.

Interested in politics, HDTV and this particular position. I have experience in post & broadcast production. I worked in Kansas City for CH19 & KODE12 in Joplin, MO. Excellent skill level with Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, as well as Avid Express & FCP. I’ve created hundreds of DVDs. I currently work with a Sony HDV cameras. I have telecine colorist experience as well as tv show production. Shot sports with Ikegami ENG and many commercials & shows with Beta SP & Digi-cam cameras. Working knowledge of 3/4″ to D1, D2 formats. 15 + years with degree. Interested?
