Compositor - The Orphanage - SF
Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Handles all standard compositing tasks
• Works with live action footage in various capacities including green screen extractions, motion tracking, color correction and grain matching
• Works closely with Compositing Supervisor, Compositing Leads and Technical Directors to complete desired look
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year digital compositing experience in a production environment
• Experience with advanced compositing techniques including floating point color space, edge blurs, light wraps and diffusion effects, etc.
• High level knowledge of the compositing application interface
• Technical experience in photography or lighting with an emphasis on color and composition
• Good working knowledge of After Effects, and Nuke depending on needs of production
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
