Position Summary:

Production Assistant dealing in all aspects of Sports Television Production

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Camera Operator for Studio and Remote Sports Productions

 Audio Operator for Studio and Remote Sports Productions

 Tape Operator for Studio and Remote Sports Productions

 Graphics for Studio and Remote Sports Productions

 Both Non-Linear and Linear Editing Skills along with Segment Producing Skills.

 ENG Camera Operation and in Field Sports Productions

 May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

 Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced sports environment.

 Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.

 Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner.

 Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.

 Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.

 Knowledge and understanding of all sports.

 Knowledge of both DPS and Final Cut Pro non-liner editing.


Experience/Education/Qualifications:

 4 year Degree in Television Production Field with at least 2 years of sports production preferred.


Other position Considerations:

 Travel may be required for remote productions or attend work related meetings and training sessions.

 Required to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record may be required.

 The ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.

 The ability to stand for long periods of time in harsh weather condition.

 The ability to do repetitive motions for long periods of time.

 The ability to see color and have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses if needed.

 The ability to climb stairs and scaffolding.

 Must successfully complete pre-employment testing to include pre-employment background checks as well as drug testing.

 Required to read and follow all company policies and procedures.

 Able to maintain a regular work schedule to meet the needs of the business.

 Support and model the company values.
